How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Book your first appointment online or call our office to schedule.

What does my first visit look like?

During your first visit, you'll complete a few intake forms covering your personal information, medical history, and any health concerns you may have.

One of the doctors will then review the information you provided, take a more detailed medical and accident history, and perform a series of exams. The doctor will determine if x-rays of the spine are needed, and we'll get you adjusted that same day.

The whole process takes roughly 45 minutes.

What is a chiropractic adjustment, and what does it feel like?

The underlying principle of an adjustment is to remove interference and pressure from the spinal cord and nerves - by correcting misalignments in your spine - enabling the body to heal and perform at its best.

A chiropractic adjustment, when performed correctly, is very gentle and often feels great. While many people have the misconception that an adjustment is just the cracking of bones, the reality is that it's much more than that. We use traditional chiropractic care where a cavitation may be heard, but we also have additional tools that allow us to adjust any segment of the spine without "cracking" any bones.

Why do you take x-rays?

In-house digital imaging is used for precise structural analysis, ensuring accurate diagnosis and progress tracking. At Jackson & Vieyra, we prioritize patient care and outcomes, which is why we don't like to guess when it comes to your spine.

Are chiropractic adjustments safe?

Yes. Chiropractic adjustments are considered very safe, especially when performed by a qualified chiropractor like Dr. Jackson or Dr. Vieyra. To ensure your comfort and well-being, we prioritize a thorough screening process before any adjustments - this allows us to tailor care to your specific needs.

What conditions can chiropractic care help with?

Chiropractic care does not "heal" any condition directly. Your body has the ability to heal and adapt better when the brain can communicate with the rest of the body without interference.

Under regular chiropractic care, the body is able to adapt and self-regulate, potentially reducing symptoms like:

• Migraines
• Vertigo
• Insomnia
• Digestive issues
• Stress
• Anxiety
• General aches and pains

What makes the "popping" sound?

The popping sound you hear during a chiropractic adjustment - also known as "cavitation" - is not actually the bones in your back cracking. The sound comes from pressure being released from the joint that is being adjusted.

How much do you charge?

We believe everyone should have access to chiropractic care, so we work hard to keep our fees affordable.

• Initial visit: $180 (exam & adjustment included)
• Regular adjustment: $65
• Family discount adjustment: $55
• Kids (17 and under): $25
